LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – A Hurricane Ingrid 2013 Mexico projected path is being warned by the National Hurricane Center today. Huracán Ingrid 2013 will formulate Saturday. NHC tells news that TS Ingrid will become Hurricane Ingrid 2013 this afternoon as could bring massive rain to Mexico.
Hurricane Ingrid 2013 is arriving this afternoon September 14, 2013. “Ingrid will reach the coast of Mexico within the Hurricane watch on Monday .. Ingrid will likely become a hurricane this afternoon”, NHC tell news.
A hurricane watch is in effect for north of Cabo Rojo to La Pesca. A tropical storm warning is in effect of other sections of Mexico. “Interests elsewhere along the coast of eastern Mexico should monitor the progress of this system,” NHC says in a news statement. “A hurricane warning may be necessary for portions of the coast of Eastern Mexico later today”.
The system is moving northwest currently. It will then head to the west on Sunday. Ingrid is carrying maximum sustained winds at 70 mph today. “Satellite images and formation from the meteorologist onboard the NOAA Jet suggest that an eye could be forming.”
Ingrid could bring flash flooding to Mexico. “Ingrid is expected to produce 10 to 15 inches of rain over a large part of eastern Mexico”. Some areas could get twenty-five inches today as well. For continuing coverage click HERE.
