Fans: What Time Does the Mayweather Fight Start Tonight 2013 boxing start

ST LOUIS (LALATE) – What time does the Mayweather fight start tonight and what is the Mayweather vs. Canelo fight time for tonight September 14, 2013? Mayweather fight times have remained unchanged from year to year, reps remind news. But this fall confusion is growing with marketing efforts trying to bring in viewers during the undercard fights. That has left fans realizing that Floyd Mayweather’s start time is not until hours later. Virtually all the dynamics of tonight’s staging are unchanged from those announced to boxing news for Mayweather’s Cinco De Mayo 2010.

The Mayweather fight time tonight is being announced to news as 9 pm EST, 6 pm PST. But what if you are only interested in seeing the main event of Mayweather vs. Canelo, and not the full fight card including Garcia vs. Matthysee? Then you should expect to see Canelo and Mayweather enter the boxing ring sometime around 8:30 PM to 9 PM PST tonight.

And while much has been made this week about Floyd Mayweather’s net worth, and how much money Mayweather makes per fight and is paid by Showtime, the real mystery about Mayweather is his residuals. In 2011, Mayweather told fans that, when news reports indicate how much money he is paid for each fight, that upfront amount is just his first check from PPV.

Mayweather said that the amount cited is just for the first broadcast and is a nominal amount compared to his real earnings annually. While hundred of millions of dollars is being reported as advances and venue receipts from Showtime and MGM deal, the key money-train for Mayweather is lifetime tv residuals, which he controls.

Mayweather told news two years ago that PPV continues to pay, for each fight, each month, for years to come as the fight is rebroadcasted worldwide. Mayweather claimed that the big money is the residuals on PPV that a fighter continues to earn for the rest of their life, not just the fight-night paycheck.

Floyd also stated he allegedly knows the details about PPV future checks since he gets the checks directly from PPV, negotiates the deals, and retains the rights. “When I do PPV, I keep all the money. The checks come in for years.” LALATE will have live round by round score results tonight in the above header, as they happen. For more click HERE.
