ST LOUIS (LALATE) – The BMW Championship Leaderboard 2013 live results for the FedEx Cup Playoffs heads into round two today. Tiger Woods results and standings were impressive after round one of the BMW Championship from Conway Farms Golf Course in Lake Forest, IL. But the golfer dominating standings and rankings currently is Brandt Snedeker.
The BMW Championship Live Leaderboard 2013 results currently features Tiger Woods tied in third place. But Tiger is in a great position. He is only three strokes off the lead. Woods ended Thursday at a five under shooting a sixty-six. He is tied with a handful of golfers as he starts round two today. Woods is tied with Charl Schwartzel, Steve Stricker, and Kevin Streelman.
News analysts note this morning that when Tiger starts a tournament at sixty-six or better, he has won nearly fifty percent of those tournaments. Of the reaming fifty percent, Woods nearly always still finishes in the top ten by the time the tournament is over.
The golfer at the top of the BMW Championship Leaderboard currently is Snedeker shooting an eight under, a sixty-three, four round one. He is followed by Zach Johnson who went seven under Thursday, shooting a sixty-four. Behind Tiger are John Merrick, Adam Scott, Ryan Moore and Nick Wantye, all tied. Those golfers shot a four under, a sixty-seven on Thursday.
As detailed previously on LALATE, the top thirty of the BMW Championship head to the Tour Championship next week. So which of the golfers are currently ranked outside the top thirty? They include Webb Simpson, Matt Kuchar, Ian Poulter, Lee Westwood and Rory McIlroy. Also among them are Henrik Stenson and Jim Furyk.
But Tiger is unhappy with Thursday. “I certainly wasted a lot of shots out there today,” he told ESPN. “I missed three short ones (putts) and played the par 5s stupendously. One of those days.” For live leaderboard results today click HERE.
