The Thursday September 5, 2013 football game also prompted some channel confusion. While Thursday night games usually air on the NFL Channel, this game is airing on NBC.
Tonight’s Ravens vs. Broncos game kicks off the NFL 2013-2014 schedule. This Sunday’s games head to CBS and FOX, start time 1 PM EST. Packers vs. 49ers and Cardinals vs. Rams will then head to Fox at 4:25 PM EST. And NBC gets Sunday primetime once again this year. This Sunday NBC will air the Giants vs. Cowboys. In advance of tonight’s game, John Harbaugh told the Ravens’ news site “I’ve got a pretty good feeling that the Broncos fans are going to make us remember (and) think about everything that they want to”. He added “We know the environment we’re going into. It will be the same environment, or even tougher, than the one that we faced in January. And we’re excited about that.”
He expects a strong battle tonight. “The Broncos are still the Broncos and they’re going to put 11 excellent players on the field and they’re going to put pass rushers out there who can rush.”
Joe Flacco has already scored seven minutes into the first quarter tonight. He delivered a two yard touchdown pass to Vonta Leach moments ago.
