LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Adam Sandler is not dead 2013. A fake Adam Sandler death report claiming that he has died in a snowboarding accident has resurfaced today. But Sandler has not died. Also today, fake Jim Carrey, Liam Payne and Eddie Murphy celebrity death reports are surfacing online as well, all from the same site: Global Associated aka Mediafetcher.
Adam Sandler has not died simultaneously in three different locations today, as Global is claiming. Sandler is the subject of not one but three fake celebrity death reports authored by Global this morning. The repots are not new, however. They strike the actor even few months, each year, and have been doing so for several years. Most often, they strike Sandler just as he has a new summer movie being released.
The first fake Adam Sandler death report by Global concerns a snowboarding accident, which never happened. “Actor Adam Sandler is reported to have died shortly after a snowboard accident earlier today”, claims Global. The location of the fake death report has been used in countless Global stories over the years. It concerns the “Zermatt ski resort in Zermatt, Switzerland with family and friends.”
The second fake celebrity death tale by Global concerns New Zealand. “Actor Adam Sandler died while filming a movie in New Zealand early this morning”, writes Global. This one concerns the “Kauri Cliffs”.
And the third fake death claim by Global concerns Australia. “Actor Adam Sandler died in a single vehicle crash between Ipswich and Willowbank in Queensland as confirmed by Royal Queensland Police.”
Adam Sandler is not in Zermatt, New Zealand, nor Australia. He hasn’t been hiking, snowboarding, or jet skiing today. And he has not died in three locations at the same time either. Sandler is alive, as are celebrities Jim Carrey, Liam Payne and Eddie Murphy today.
