On Sunday, Tiger Woods was seen stretching before most of his shots. Woods later told news that his back spasms “actually started the hole before, on 12. The 13th just kind of accentuated it. It was definitely a spasm – big time.”

Today Woods told indicates that will withdraw from tomorrow’s NB3 Challenge at the Turning Stone Resort in New York. “I have spoken to Notah, and I would also like to express my personal regrets to the Oneida Indian Nation, sponsors and fans that I am unable to play in the Notah Begay III Foundation Challenge,” Woods said in a news statement. “I want to commend Notah for his hard work and diligence. I’m certain it will be a very successful event.”
The event is a held for charity by Woods’ longtime friend Notah Begay III. “While we’re disappointed Tiger is unable to play in this year’s event, the important thing for Tiger is to make sure he’s 100% healthy and not risk further injuring himself,” Begay said in a news statement.
