ST LOUIS (LALATE) – An Italy earthquake today 2013 has struck Sirolo. The Italy earthquake today August 22, 2013 hit south of San Marino. No reports of damage have yet to be indicated by local news.
Officials tell news that a 4.5 magnitude Italy earthquake today struck in the morning hours, just after 8:44 am local time. The quake had a nominal depth. Reps tell news that the quake started only six miles below ground level. As a result the quake could be felt across the region. The quake was one of the strongest to strike the country this year.
The quake starts seven miles northeast of Sirolo. The Italy earthquake today was eleven miles east of Ancona, twelve minutes northeast of Loreto. The quake also started sixty-eight miles east of San Marino.
In June a 5.1 magnitude quake struck the country. The quake was seven miles east of Aulla and eleven miles northeast of Sarzana. The quake also erupted eleven miles northeast of Carrara and roughly one miles west of San Marino. At the time, quakes were striking north of Fivizzano and eleven miles northeast of Aulla as well. Officials also told news at the time that the quakes were sixteen miles southwest of Castelnovo ne’ Monti and the same distance northeast of Sarzana.
