LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – The California Fire Map 2013 improved Monday as the Swedes Fire resulted in some evacuation orders being lifted. The situation changed dramatically today August 19, 2013 for CalFire and non CalFire California wildfires. The Cleghorn Fire aka the Cajon Pass Fire in San Bernardino Fire near I-15 is fully contained. The Bridges Fire in Calaveras County, near Vallecito & New Melones Lake, is now at eighty percent containment, officials tell news. And the Swedes Fire in Butte County, southeast of Oroville, is now at forty-five percent containment.
The focus of the California Fire Map 2013 today remains mostly the Swedes Fire. That blaze has burned one residential structure, vehicles, a garage, and three outbuildings. But after burning also two thousand acres, the fire situation improved. Officials have now gotten it to forty-five percent containment, reps tell news.
Some evacuation orders have been lifted. “Evacuations lifted at the following locations: Rutherford Ln., Mission Crest, Cole Ln.. Also at the following locations with identification: Springs Creek Rd., Romo Rd. and Nichols Ranch Rd.” Other previous evacuation orders and evacuation warnings remain in place today, officials tell news.
