LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – The Swedes Fire Map 2013 grew today for the California wildfire which started on Swedes Flat Road and Chinese Wall Road, southeast of Oroville in Butte County. CalFire’s Butte Unit tells news that the blaze actually features two separate fires.
The latest news update on The Swedes Fire Map 2013 indicated that the first fire of 28 acres is one hundred percent contained. But the major second fire is only twenty-five percent contained. It has spread to one thousand fire hundred acres after starting just before Friday evening.
One home has been lost along with three outbuildings. Officials tell news that the fire is “dynamic” and can spread fast. As a result, “Evacuate if you feel you are in danger, with or without an order or warning.”
New evacuation orders and evacuation warnings have been issued today. First evacuation orders are in place for Chinese Wall Road, Swedes Flat Road from Chinese Wall Road to Oro Bangor Highway, Fox Lane, Romo Road, Nichols Ranch Road, Spring Creek Road, Cole Lane, Cornett Lane, Mission Crest Drive, Rutherford Lane and the east side of Oro Bangor Highway from Swedes Flat to Mission Crest. “All of Hurleton Swedes Flat and all roads that run off it between Swedes Flat and Forbestown Rd”, Cal Fire tell news.
Meantime, evacuation warnings cover “All residents that are not covered by the Order above within the boundary of Miners Ranch Road from Oro Bangor Highway to Oroville Quincy Highway (Hwy 162)”.
