ST LOUIS (LALATE) – The Millville Fire Map 2013 for the Utah wildfire expanded today. Meantime, exiting evacuation orders for Blacksmiths Fork Canyon remains in place as well. The order includes Left Hand Fork Canyon as well.
The latest news update today on the Millville Fire Map 2013 indicates that the fire is now at two thousand eight hundred acres and thirty percent contained. The fire is being battled by one hundred seventy-eight personnel. Mandatory evacuation orders issued previously are still in place. “The threat to structures remains due to the extreme fire behavior conditions that exist,” officials explain to news.
The evacuation zone starts in the canyon. “The evacuation area begins at the mouth of Blacksmiths Fork canyon. The subdivisions at the mouth of the canyon are not included within the evacuation area. The evacuation area extends east to the intersection with the Left Hand Fork road.” Officials add that “The mandatory evacuation also includes the Left Hand Fork Canyon area beginning at the Left Hand Fork road intersection with Blacksmith Fork road and extends to the Gray Cliff springs”.
Several road closures remain in place as well. “The Blacksmiths Fork Canyon road (Hwy 101) remains closed to all nonessential traffic beginning” in some areas along with the Left Hand Fork road. For the latest fire map click HERE. And for continuing coverage click HERE.
