LOS ANGELES (LALATE EXCLUSIVE) – Drew Tieman, Johnny Manziel’s friend, is already on criminal probation, LALATE can exclusively report. Drew Tieman is being identified as an “autograph broker” who allegedly paid Johnny Manziel five figures to sign memorabilia. But LALATE can report that Drew Tieman is already on probation until 2014 following, not one, but two criminal arrests within months of each other.
Drew Tieman has yet to comment about the Johnny Manziel NCAA investigation. A NCAA investigation is looking into whether Drew Tieman allegedly paid Johnny Manziel five figures to sign “hundreds of items” in a Florida apartment, and whether those items then appeared on eBay auction sales.
Drew Tieman has a criminal record, LALATE can report, and is still on probation. The then Miami resident was arrested on December 17, 2009 for three narcotics charges including possession with intent to use. On February 3, 2010, Tieman was arrested again. He was booked by Broward official and given another possession charge.
Appearing also under the alias of “Michael Tieman Drew”, Tieman was sentenced to offender probation. Tieman’s probation began on July 9, 2010 and runs until July 8, 2014. Court records listed his address as Pembroke Pines, Florida.
ESPN identifies an apartment as key in their investigation. “After that meeting, three sources said, Manziel, accompanied by his friend and personal assistant Nathan Fitch, visited Tieman’s residence and signed hundreds of items in the main room of the apartment despite the fact that there were many people in the room. Before Manziel left South Florida, after taking in the title game, he signed hundreds of autographs more, one source said.”
LALATE can report exclusively that Tieman in 2010 identified his residence as an apartment on Hollybrook Lake Drive in Pembroke Pines, Florida. For continuing coverage, click HERE.
