LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – A Nathan Campbell Venice Beach car crash video has been released from the Ocean Front Walk attack yesterday. Nathan Campbell has identified himself as the Venice Beach car crash accident driver. Campbell is accused of driving his car purposely onto Venice Beach boardwalk, Ocean Front Walk, Saturday August 3, 2013.
Alice Gruppioni of Italy died and several persons were injured. No photo for Nathan Campbell, Facebook account or similar have yet to be identified by police. A Los Angeles Police Department spokesman confirms to news that Campbell is being held on $1-million bail.
The Nathan Campbell Venice Beach car crash video is one of several recordings surfacing online today. It shows the tense moment as people ran for their lives as a dark blue sedan drove onto Venice’s boardwalk Ocean Front Walk.
Some witnesses report that the driver’s speed was in excess of 60 mph. Some put the speed slower. The crash left Alice Gruppioni, 32, of Italy, dead. Eleven persons are injured and one is in critical condition. Witnesses claim that the attack was deliberate. One witness told KCBS: “The driver was out for blood.”
Campbell was driving a Dodge Avenger at the time, just after 6 pm. Two hours later, he turned himself in. He was charged Sunday with murder.
