LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Paul Bhattacharjee has died, his death confirmed moments ago. Paul Bhattacharjee ‘s cause of death remains undetermined. Police have yet to confirm where and when the actor died. He was 53 years old.
Officials in a news briefing moments ago confirm that the Casino Royale actor was found at Splash Point Cliffs in Seaford, East Sussex. Paul Bhattacharjee‘s body found dead on July 12. His death, however, was confirmed only today. Police confirm to news that no foul play was informed.
Bhattacharjee‘s last contact with anyone was a text message to his girlfriend on July 10. He had just exited the Royal Court theatre in London’s Sloane Square. At 9 pm local time, he sent her the text message. He was never seen nor heard from thereafter.
In Casino Royale, the 2006 James Bond film, Bhattacharjee played a doctor. He also appeared as Inzamam in EastEnders from 2008 to 2010. Other credits include Waking the Dead, Spooks and The Bill, reports the BBC. The actor’s 24-year-old son Rahul Bhattacharjee-Prashar had previously said that Paul’s disappearance was “completely out of character”.
