Scottie Pippen, Camran Shafighi Lawsuit Heads to Court over Fight

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – A Scottie Pippen, Camran Shafighi lawsuit is heading to court. Scottie Pippen is being sued for $4 million for allegedly striking Camran Shafighi in the parking lot outside Nobu, a Malibu restaurant. Pippen and wife Larsa appeared on the first season of Real Housewives of Miami. She has also appeared in several Kim Kardashian reality shows.

Camran Shafighi asserts that he was attacked by Pippen. He also claims that the alleged attack was unprovoked. The alleged altercation followed Shafighi taking pictures of Pippen inside the restaurant. When outside, Camran Shafighi asked for a picture alongside his girlfriend’s 12 year old son.

The complaint assets that the photographer got a “brutal and unjustified physical attack…At no time did or could Mr. Shafighi physically provoke or fight back, as he was knocked unconscious with the first blow.”

Pippen allegedly has neither been charged nor arrested in the matter. But an investigation is on-going. Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore tells news that witnesses assert Shafighi was drunk at the time.

The dispute erupted in June 23, 2013. The case is now in a Los Angeles area court. In 2010, Pippen sued his former Chicago law firm Pedersen & Houpt claiming $8.2 million in legal malpractice. A jury awarded the him and wife Larsa Pippen a $2 million verdict.
