LOS ANGELES (LALATE EXCLUSIVE) – Tamra Judge, Gretchen Rossi, and Heather Dubrow helped lifted RHOC’s ratings this month. Fresher storylines are helping pick up the show’s ratings, LALATE can report, from preparations for Tamra Barney’s wedding to new sitcom roles set for Heather Dubrow.
Since 2010, LALATE has reported a clear progression episode to episode for RHOC ratings. The show typically demonstrates a huge jump in ratings by midseason as storylines become further advanced. As built up season-long tensions finally explode, the show historically has reached its highest ratings level.
But at midseason, these July numbers are strong for the franchise. The last week of June, the show posted a 1.723 ratings share, an honorable midseason showing for the longstanding franchise. But the first week of July, the show witnessed a sizable jump. RHOC posted 1.968 ratings share last week. It also delivered a 1.0 ratings share in the key 18-49 demographic.
The other key number is the 11 o’clock repeat airing. LALATE can report that the show posted a strong 0.810 share during its second airing that evening. A year ago this month, LALATE reported that Judge and Co delivered skyrocketed ratings for the reunion’s first telecast. The show delivered a jump from the season’s average of 1.91 million viewers to 2.51. The show ended up fourth among young adults for the night.
