LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – An Aaron Hernandez fiancée girlfriend mystery is growing today about Hernandez’s baby mama Shayanna Jenkins. Viewers are wondering today if the football player’s girlfriend is now his fiancée or if Aaron Hernandez married Jenkins in recent days. No reports appear to have indicated that the couple are married or engaged.
Shayanna Jenkins was not Aaron Hernandez’s fiancée when the Odin Lloyd murder erupted days ago. But little has been known about Aaron Hernandez baby mama, the girlfriend’s whereabouts, her knowledge about the family’s security system, and her understanding if any about a cleaning crew at the couple’s residence.
When the Aaron Hernandez case first broke, initial news reports indicated a connection with the victim, then unnamed, and Hernandez. Slowly details began to surface. The body was found near or on John Dietsch Boulevard, near Hernandez’s home that he shares with Jenkins. But police later told news that they believed that the body had been fatally shot somewhere else and dumped near the Hernandez residence. Jenkins is not a suspect and has not been charged by police.
Yet, Shayanna Jenkins’ possible knowledge about the condition of the Hernandez-Jenkins residence before and after Odin Lloyd’s murder will be critical to the investigation. Police have reportedly focuses on the car that Aaron Hernandez drove from the residence in question. His passengers were allegedly Lloyd and two other men. That car allegedly returned to the Hernandez residence after the evening without everyone except Lloyd.
Next, police are expected to focus on any alleged firearms inside the Hernandez home before the murder. As previously reported exclusively on LALATE, Hernandez is being accused by another man in a civil case of allegedly possessing an allegedly unlicensed firearm and taking it to Florida. For the Lloyd criminal case, police allegedly have yet to recover the firearm in question. But they did recover from near Lloyd’s body another firearm that allegedly was not the murder weapon.
Additionally, a clearing crew, a security system, and a cellphone are excepted to critical to the police investigation. Local news claims that Hernandez allegedly had a “cleaning crew” as opposed to a regular housekeeper allegedly “scrub” his house after Lloyd was found murdered. Lloyd, moreover, is accused of allegedly smashing two things inside the family’s home, his cellphone and the security system that protects his family, Jenkins and his baby.
Hernandez was arrested this morning and then released. “We are not releasing the charge against Hernandez until it is presented to the court,” the Massachusetts State Police said in a news statement “Again, he will be arraigned in Attleboro Court today.”
The Patriots quickly issued a news statement. “A young man was murdered last week and we extend our sympathies to the family and friends who mourn his loss. Words cannot express the disappointment we feel knowing that one of our players was arrested as a result of this investigation. We realize that law enforcement investigations into this matter are ongoing. We support their efforts and respect the process. At this time, we believe this transaction is simply the right thing to do.”
Yesterday, Hernandez’s attorney issued a news statement denouncing what he called as false news reports that his client was going to be arrested. “These include the repeated publication of a supposedly confirmed report that an arrest warrant had been issued for Aaron, a report that was exposed as untrue.” Hernandez was arrested less twenty-four hours later.
