ST LOUIS (LALATE) – An Anderson, South Carolina tornado 2013 today has left damage. The Anderson, South Carolina tornado today June 2, 2013 was reported moments ago by Brad Panovich and local news. The system is still moving through the area, officials tell news.

Just before 3:45 pm EST, Panovich reported news of a tornado moving through the area. “Tornado on the ground near Anderson, SC”, he wrote. He said that a tornado is near Centerville, SC was now heading near Northlake and Anderson. Then also told news that the system was “near HWY 24 an New Hope road near Anderson, SC.”

Moments ago, he indicated that the Anderson, South Carolina tornado system was spinning, adding “heads up Union Co. SC storm showing signs of rotating now.” As of 4:35 PM local time, the tornado is on the ground west of Anderson. He wrote on Twitter “The tornado reported on the ground near the intersection of Dobbins Bridge and Busby Rd. Possible damage.”

Cody Alcorn is reporting the same about the Anderson, South Carolina tornado. “Tornado reported on the ground 6 miles west of Anderson. Areas NE of there seek shelter. Reports tornado is crossing Hwy 24…There are reports of damage Northern Anderson County off Busby Road.” For tornado updates click HERE.
