LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – The Dzhokhar Tsarnaev Twitter account of @J_tsar is real, claims NBC News. Dzhokhar Tsarnaev on his real Twitter account of @J_tsar shared Jay-Z and Eminem lyrics after the Boston Marathon bombing. He last shared tweets by Muslim scholar Mufti Ismail Menk.
NBC News is reporting that the account of Twitter.com/J_tsar does belong to Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. His Twitter feed has not been active since Wednesday. NBC provided no insight how it determined the account to be that of suspect 2 in the Boston Marathon bombings.
After Monday’s Boston Marathon bombings, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev took to Twitter to share a lyric from the Jay-Z song “Heart of the City (Ain’t No Love)”, claims NBC. He wrote “Ain’t no love in the heart of the city, stay safe people”. He later wrote “There are people that know the truth but stay silent & there are people that speak the truth but we don’t hear them cuz they’re the minority.”
Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s last message was a retweet by Menk on April 17. It read “Attitude can take away your beauty no matter how good looking you are or it could enhance your beauty, making you adorable.” He also wrote this week “There are people that know the truth but stay silent & there are people that speak the truth but we don’t hear them cuz they’re the minority”.
On his Amazon.com wishlist from 2006, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev shared his desire for books about committed fraud, changing one’s identification, and forging documents. This week he wrote “I’ve been looking for those, there is a shortage on the black market if you wanna make a quick buck, nuff said.”
Several tweets by him were to protected accounts. Those protected tweets came in since Monday. He also wrote to the account “ImRealTed” the peculiar statement “fake story”. He gave no further explanation for his message.
Mufti Ismail Menk has yet to comment about he matter. He is believed to be in Zimbabwe and is a Saudi educated, Muslim scholar. Earlier today, police scanners allegedly said that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has a laptop with him and has been communicating on social media since last night.
