LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – A David Green photo of suspect 2 delivers a new high resolution image of the male. David Green’s iPhone picture of suspect 2 was posted to Facebook tonight, shared on other sites, and prompted a news interview this evening.
David Green tells the New York Times that the FBI has contacted him and has requested a copy of the photo. The photo went viral shortly after the FBI released its own photos of suspect 2.
Green with his iPhone at 2:50:15 PM took several photos. But he didn’t know which person in the photo could be a possible suspect until this afternoon’s press conference. The image (close up above) is taken at the corner of Fairfield and Boylston Streets. Suspect 2 appears profile in the lower left in the original photo HERE walking by a balding man in a suit.
The image comes as news that injured Jeff Bauman identified suspect 1. “He woke up under so much drugs, asked for a paper and pen and wrote, ‘bag, saw the guy, looked right at me,’” his brother Chris Bauman tells Bloomberg news. Jeff Bauman gave FBI investigators an interview while in intensive care after the injury. That interview drew the FBI to suspect one.
