LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – A Washington earthquake today 2013 has truck south of Seattle. A Washington earthquake Sunday, April 07, 2013 began in the predawn morning hours in the Puget Sound region. No report of damage have yet to be indicated by local news.
Officials tell news that a 3.5 magnitude Washington earthquake today erupted at 1:57 am today. The quake posted a nominal depth. It started only thirteen mile below sea level. As a result, the quake could be felt across the region.
USGS tells news that the quake started four miles southeast of Allyn-Grapeview. The quake began seven miles west of Artondale and nine miles west of Gig Harbor. Officials report to news that the quake started sixteen miles west of Tacoma and twenty-nine miles southwest of Seattle.
In February, another quake struck the region. That temblor began three miles west of Covington and four miles east of Kent. Officials also indicated to news at the time that the quake was eighteen miles southwest of Seattle and fourteen miles south of Bellevue.
In January, a related quake started four miles west of La Conner. The quake was five miles southwest of Bay View, six miles southeast of Anacortes. The quake also began eleven miles north of Oak Harbor and fifty-seven miles north of Seattle.
