LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Jillian Barberie is divorcing Grant Reynolds. Jillian Barberie issued a news statement, credited as “Jillian Barberie Reynolds”, citing that she is saddened by the couple’s divorce.
She tells news “It is with great regret that my marriage to Grant is ending after more than six years. He is a special man and we have two amazing children together Ruby, 5, and son Rocco, 3.” Barbie says the divorce decision was mutual. “This was a mutual decision that was not taken lightly and we are committed to our children and will work together to ensure their happy and healthy upbringing.”
The couple married in July 2006. The Marine turned actor watched as Barberie’s career grew, across Fox Sports, Fox NFL Sunday, and Good Day L.A.. But in September last year, Barbie exited the program. She told news at the time. “Just informed I am no longer on @gdla. It’s been an amazing 2 decade run! I will always be grateful for the fun and opportunity!” She added “I wasn’t let go as in ‘fired’.”
She also told news at the time “Fox was tying to find something for me to do a few times a week. But the truth is I loved being on set, teasing Steve, doing celebrity interviews and working off script and ad libing. Its what I do.” She added “I could not imagine doing any other role on that show after two decades. There were hoping I would stay and do segment from the field of some sort but I don’t them I didn’t think it was a good fit. I love hosting. I just do. My agent told them we weren’t interested. So this is a new beginning for me in every way.”
Grant Reynolds had no statement today. The couple additionally have not explanation for their divorce or further details about their split.
