LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Who is the next Bachelorette 2013? Desiree Hartsock, not Lindsay Yenter, will be named the Bachelorette 2013 tonight on ABC, claims news reports. And while fans will be excited to a see a familiar face, it remains unclear if and why Lindsay Yenter allegedly turned down the role.
The Bachelorette 2013 season is already fully casted, RealitySteve tells news. But one of the mysteries of the upcoming season may not be revealed tonight. Namely, why did Lindsay Yenter allegedly declined a purported offer to be the next Bachelorette, only to have producers purportedly offer the role instead to Desiree Hartsock.
Steve told news over the weekend that he already has found out some of Desiree’s suitors. “Some of Des’ guys [include …] a divorced single dad, a former minor league baseball player, a model (shocker), and an opera singer – to name a few.” He also tells news that “Coming tomorrow … your first look at some of Desiree’s guys.”
The confusion about casting the latest franchise heated up last November. At the time, unconfirmed news reports claimed that Emily Maynard could return for a second installment. Another news report claimed that Courtney Robertson was considered, and even Cheryl Burke.
But in December, Steve claimed that Yenter was the frontrunner to become the next star of the franchise. He told news that month that Yenter was at the top of the list “even though we are months away from them deciding who’s going to be the next Bachelorette.”
One source had told news last winter that Yenter was often awkward during filming. But slowly that changed. The source told news that Lindsay “already had that rose in her hand and then they awkwardly dance, his hands weren’t even touching on her back. She kept rubbing his neck with her hand and they were talking and he was kinda quietly laughing, and I think in the second song they kissed.”
But February the situation changed. Steve told news at the time the surprise change. “I’ve said for a while now that the Bachelorette was Lindsay’s gig to lose, and although of course they were considering others like Desiree and AshLee, all signs since November have been pointing to Lindsay being the next Bachelorette.“
And then he gave the surprise news announcement that “I’ve got it on pretty good authority that Lindsay will NOT be the next Bachelorette.” Finally by early March, E! News was reporting that Desiree has been allegedly offered the role of the Bachelorette by the network. Tonight The Bachelorette 2013 will be announced on ABC.
