LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – The Bachelor spoilers for Sean Lowe reveals who wins The Bachelor 2013 within days. But in March, RealitySteve will head to court to decide who wins the Bachelor 2013 lawsuit. In fall 2012, RealitySteve revealed that Catherine Giudici is The Bachelor 2013 winner. But producers sued RealitySteve (Stephen Carbone), again. The parties had previously battled in court about another season in the franchise. That season ended with a settlement agreement for the parties, and breakup between the Bachelor and his winner. Now the case is back in court.
First producers sued RealitySteve.com (Stephen Carbone) on December 6, 2011 asserting claims of intentional interference with contractual relations and unfair competition. But in May of the next year, the matter was resolved. Soon later, producers sued RealitySteve a second time.
Steve’s attorney in a recent pleading gave insight into that May 2012 settlement agreement. It purportedly states that Steve can’t “initiate contact directly or directly with an cast, crew, or other employees of the bachelor Series concerning any non problem details of the Bachelor Series.” It also asserted that he cannot “offer or pay financial inducement for any non public details of the Bachelor Series.”
While the pleading is not particular clear as the settlement term “Bachelor Series”, it is believed to have applied to both the Bachelor and the Bachelorette programs. Steve for example recently told news that Lindsay Yenter is the front runner for the Bachelorette 2013 after losing to The Bachelor 2013 winner Catherine Giudici.
Steve tells the court in recent pleading that he reveled Bachelor 2013 spoilers, aka “certain spoilers concerning the season”, “before the series aired”. Now Steve has filed an anti-Slapp motion against producers. Steve asserts that “the fact the Series is now airing its 17th season demonstrates considerable public interest in the show and its contestants. Thereafter Defendants statements concerning the series were made in connection with an issue of public interest.”
RealitySteve asserts in his Bachelor 2013 spoilers that Catherine Giudici wins this season, gets engaged to Sean Lowe, and is purportedly still with Sean Lowe. But Steve asserts “it is simply .. not enough … to alleged upon information and belief that … [he] obtained at least some of the information by contacting and solicitation of information from participants, cast crew and other employees … by knowingly inducing them to breach their confidentiality obligations to Plaintiffs.” The entire motion can be read HERE.
Steve’s hearing is set for March 18. And while it’s unclear how that hearing will turn out, if RealitySteve is correct about the Bachelor 2013 spoilers, and he always is, AshLee Frazier gets eliminated next week in overnight dates in Chiang Rai. Lindsay Yenter and Catherine then head to the final.
