LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Khloe Kardashian has been fired by The X Factor, claims the NY Post. Khloe has reportedly been fired from hosting the upcoming The X Factor 2013 season. But her co-host, Mario Lopez, has reportedly been asked back.

Khloe Kardashian and The X Factor have yet to comment about a new report issued today in the NY Post. But the newspaper claims “They are asking Mario [Lopez] to come back, but not Khloe”. Khloe, however, is the latest in a series of hosts and judges not invited back from the show season to season.

The X Factor did not deliver the type of ratings the show had expected for its first season. So the show underwent a dramatic change for the judges and host before season two. Now the show, still uncomfortable with its team, is making changes against.

But the Post claims that a familiar face might return. “Meanwhile, Brit singer Cheryl Cole, who was unceremoniously dumped as a judge last year, is in talks to return to the show — possibly as part of a judging panel that would be comprised of Cowell and three younger women.” Cole filed a lawsuit last year for $2.3 million after being fired before season one.
