LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – MJ Mercedes Javid battles bizarre bank allegations on the Shahs of Sunset Reunion Part 1 tonight. MJ Mercedes Javid sits back as other Shahs shout shocking allegations against her about a bank. But are the claims true? And was the original news story about MJ yanked?
In Bravo previews released in advance of Sunday’s telecast, viewers can watch as Reza Farahan and cast members hurling at MJ allegations about a bank. And Reza fumes at MJ “until you get rehab, I don’t want to have anything to do with you.”
But the background on the bank allegations are far more complex than Bravo reveals tonight. In January of this year, website Radar Online published an “exclusive” story with bank allegations about MJ. The story then became highly cited. Nearly a half dozen other news sites picked up the report at the time.
Yet, a quick perusal of Radar Online reveals the story has been since deleted. Why was the story deleted? The original news story remains linked from other Radar pages still. Currently you can see its title, and allegation, from a one news article about a Ryan Lochte reality show. But the original story about MJ has been deleted. It remains unclear when the story was removed. The Shahs reunion was filmed only recently.
