LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Michael Jackson’s hat, an Eddie Van Halen guitar, and even a red mink cape for a man are detailed in a new Jesse Jackson Jr. indictment. Jesse Jackson Jr. is accused of illegally using campaigns funds to buy a wide range of unusual items for his personal needs. Jesse Jackson’s alleged caper and stylish capes were announced by investigators this week.
A Michael Jackson’ hat headlines the list of items bought. Jesse Jackson allegedly used three thousand nine hundred dollars of campaign funds on a “Michael Jackson Hat” on November 4, 2009, officials claim. He then spent four thousand six hundred dollars on a “Michael Jackson Fedora” in March of 2010, the indictment asserts.
Jesse Jackson Jr. apparently liked Bruce Lee, Michael Jackson and lots of mink clothing. The list featured three thousand dollars in Bruce Lee memorabilia. Jesse Jackson purportedly bought at least ten Michael Jackson items. He even allegedly spent four thousand dollars of campaign funds on a guitar used by Eddie Van Halen. Jimmi Hendrix items, Malcolm X items, and a football signed by former Presidents purportedly were picked up by Jesse Jackson as well.
But why was Jesse Jackson Jr. so interested in mink? He allegedly used campaign funds for his personal needs, namely acquiring a “mink cashmere cape”, and “black and red cashmere cape”, and two sets of “mink reversible parts”.
