LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – The Dog the Bounty Hunter new CMT series still doesn’t have a name. But Dog, Beth and their son, Leland Chapman are telling news today that they are turning to fans to name their new series. When CMT originally revealed plans for the upcoming April 2013 show, the network referred to the show as only “Dog”. But now Beth Chapman is turning to viewers to help name the program.
In a news statement this week, the Chapmans say “Show some love for Dog and Beth and let us know what we should call our new CMT show. Starts in April!” The name-game proved to be highly successful just weeks ago for Budweiser. Budweiser Clydesdale Super Bowl ad 2013 commercial called “Brotherhood” asked viewers to submit names for the Clydesdale foal during the game.
“Bail bondsman and bounty hunter have become household names and so has the danger surrounding them,” said Duane “Dog” Chapman previously. “This show on CMT gives us the opportunity to get out on the road and help save a dying breed ‘big or small we’ll get them all.’”
The show won’t be filmed exclusively in Hawaii. Rather then episodes will be shot across the country as the Chapmans help struggling bail-bondsmen hunt criminals together.
