LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Nene Leakes is ecstatic that RHOA has done better in the TV ratings since Kim Zolciak left the show. Kim Zolciak tells news that she quit the show. Nene says that Kim was fired by producers. But while Kim Zolciak’s exit remains in dispute, one thing is not. The show has delivered, not just better ratings since Kim’s exit, but record ratings numbers.
In recent weeks, Bravo, ironically, has not been airing Kim Zolciak episodes from earlier in the season. Rather the focus has been to replay the episodes fueled by the Kenya-Phaedra disagreement. It was those episodes which delivered RHOA recent record ratings for Bravo.
Two weeks ago, Bravo PR told news that its network “garnered its best primetime ratings ever this past Sunday night among total viewers and A25-54? as result of broadcast of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” and “Shahs of Sunset.” They added that “the show broke ratings records with a season-to-date high across all key demos and scoring over four million total viewers in an episode that shocked viewers with Kenya’s imitation of her fellow castmate Phaedra.”
Nene told news at the time “The Real Housewives … has knocked the ratings out of the park once again! Thanks for supporting.” She also took a jab at someone, telling news “I see people can be very intimidated by your career moves!” She added that “mainly because they don’t have a career.”
