LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Is Bigfoot in Oregon? New Sasquatch evidence is prompting beliefs that a young Bigfoot is roaming around in Oregon currently. The evidence is the most compelling Bigfoot details since sightings by students last summer.
The latest Bigfoot concerns are targeting the Umatilla Indian Reservation east of Pendleton. Officials tell news that the there are footprints and sounds being witnessed by residents. Nestled near the Oregon’s Blue Mountains, the roughly two hundred thousand acres has been the site of other purported Bigfoot sightings over the years.
But now rental property tenants are complaining that they are hearing Bigfoot’s cries. One resident claims his dog is afraid to go outside. John Franken, the housing authority’s interim director, told The Oregonian that sounds and prints have been witnesses by multiple residents.
Yet Carl Sheeler, a local wildlife program manager, tells the newspaper that the sounds could be coming from other creatures. “That wetland is a perfect place to have an echoing call sound eerie”. He says the sounds are typically made by cougars and foxes.
Last fall, an aerial Bigfoot project with a blimp called the Falcon Project dominated news. Pursued by Jeffrey Meldrum, the group sought to use thermal-imaging camera technology to track Bigfoot. And in June 2012, students from Pocatello allegedly recorded Big Foot while traveling through Mink Creek. “It just didn’t look human like. I don’t know what that is, it’s not a bear, it’s not a moose or anything.” They added “It was big and bulky and black.”
