Such was the case in Group A earlier this week until South Africa broke from the pack to get a two point lead. In Group D, Cote d’Ivoire and Tunisia have also broken away from the back with two point leads.
But Zambia vs. Nigeria is the second of three games in this Group C division. In their opener against Ethiopia, Zambia’s Collins Mbesuma delivered the only goal at the forty-five minute mark.
In Nigeria’s opener against Burkina Faso, Nigeria scored earlier as well. Their goal came from Emmanuel Emenike.
