Zambia vs. Nigeria 2013: Africa Cup of Nations Ignites Group C
ST LOUIS (LALATE) – Today’s Zambia vs. Nigeria 2013 game (live score results below)) will ignite Group C action in the Africa Cup of Nations. Soccer fans have a full plate of futbol games today. There are three Copa Centroamericana games and one English FA Cup game. But within the hour, the first of two Africa Cup of Nations games will kick off.
Friday’s Zambia vs. Nigeria 2013 game (start time 7 am PST) will break the tie currently lingering in Group C. All four teams are tied up after 1-1 draws in the opening two matches. Such was the case in Group A earlier this week until South Africa broke from the pack to get a two point lead. In Group D, Cote d’Ivoire and Tunisia have also broken away from the back with two point leads.
But Zambia vs. Nigeria is the second of three games in this Group C division. In their opener against Ethiopia, Zambia’s Collins Mbesuma delivered the only goal at the forty-five minute mark.
In Nigeria’s opener against Burkina Faso, Nigeria scored earlier as well. Their goal came from Emmanuel Emenike.
