LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – A “Jenny Rivera” DMV driver license has been found but Jenni Rivera’s dead body is unrecoverable, officials tell news. A driver license for “Dolores Janney Rivera” aka Jenny Rivera or known professionally as Jenni Rivera was found by officials Sunday. Yet plane crash photos (pictures below) show unrecognizable debris.
Jenni Rivera cited as “Jenny Rivera” in flight logs has been accepted as dead by her family. But some fans are left perplexed after news that Jenni Rivera’s dead body was not recoverable from the crash site. Also perplexing is the lack of answers about why and how the plane crashed, and existence of purported “temporary” pilot licenses on board.
First, officials tell news that a “Jenny Rivera” driver license for “Dolores Janney Rivera” was found. The DMV license appears registered to Jenni Rivera’s home address in Encino. Second, “Jenny Rivera” was listed in the flight logs of the LearJet. The jet departed Sunday morning in the predawn morning hours from Monterrey, Mexico.
Third, the purported “Jenni Rivera last photo” was photographed by her makeup artist and shared on his Instagram account, as reported on LALATE early Sunday. The image appears to depict Rivera on board the plane, smiling to adoring fans.
Yet, from there, Rivera was never seen again. Some fans today are taking issue with the lack of remains found at the crash site on Sunday. New pictures of the plane crash show nothing recognizable.
Officials tell news that the plane crash debris is spread over roughly three hundred feet. The point of impact remains unknown. The cause of the plane’s crash remains unknown. And the lack of recoverable debris is prompting disbelief among some.
“There is nothing recognizable, neither material nor human in the wreckage,” transportation and communication minister Gerardo Ruiz Esparza said in a news statement to the Televisa network.
Rivera’s family has accepted Jenni’s passing and is urging fans to do the same. Father Pedro Rivera told news last night. “My son Lupillo told me that effectively it was Jenni’s plane that crashed and that everyone on board died.” He added “I believe my daughter’s body is unrecognizable.”
Recovered from the crash site was a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) temporary airman’s certificate. FAA officials have yet to indicate why a temporary certificate was issued.
Officials now tell news that the plane, previously detailed on LALATE, had a log of mechanical trouble in 2005. The plane entered service in 1969.
Jenni’s father told fans Sunday to accept his daughter’s death. “I want to thank you all for your support, and please remember her with all your heart.” In her final news interview Sunday, Jenni Rivera said that she was still getting over her last divorce from Major League Baseball pitcher Esteban Loaiza. Rivera told news that she had “fallen down” three times but had gotten up each time and recovered. Rivera posted her final picture for fans last weekend in which she ended simply “I love you”.
