LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – A Jill Kelley, Bubba the Love Sponge feud was launched by General Petraeus, new emails revealed. Did General Petraeus hire Jill Kelley to go after Bubba the Love Sponge? Yes, new emails reveal. Petraeus used Jill Kelley to go after Bubba the Love Sponge after the radio host planned to deep fat fry a Koran on air. Kelly then went after Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn to get involved. And she even got her “sweetheart” General John Allen involved.
For weeks, news analyst have been trying to determine why Jill Kelley reported roughly six emails from Paula Broadwell to the FBI, rather than calling up Holly Petraeus. And questions have surrounded why did Jill Kelley exchange thirty thousand emails to her “sweetheart” General John Allen in two years.
Today, there is more clarity. Kelley just apparently has a propensity to send lots of emails to political leaders, even about Bubba the Love Sponge, than previously known. And some of these emails were requested by General Petraeus.
Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn told news Friday that his office found sixty pages of emails from Jill Kelley. But some of them feature Kelley tells Buckhorn that General Petraeus has enlisted her to go after Bubba the Love Sponge .
In it she writes “This Bubba the Love Sponge is a complete moron”. She took issue with Bubba’s intention to deep fat fry a Koran. But Kelley was not alone. She claims that General David Petraeus urged her to get the episode halted. “I have Petraeus & Allen both emailing me about getting this dealt with”, she told Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn in an email. Apparently, even Vice Admiral Robert Harward was contacting Jill Kelley to stop a Bubba the Love Sponge antic.
In another email she wrote “I just got off the phone with Gen. Allen & Adm Harward. I’m going to need your assistance, vice versa with the potential crises we’ll be dealing with.”
“It was absolutely a concern,” Lt. Col. T.G. Taylor said in an interview with NBC News this weekend. Taylor said he called Bubba and got the antic stopped. He reportedly told the host “Look Bubba, somebody’s going to get hurt if you do this.” He tells news that Bubba was “completely reasonable and said he understood.”
