Romney Tattoo $15000: Eric Hartsburg Claims Ink Encourages Voting

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Does putting a Romney tattoo for $15000 on your face encourage other people to vote as well? Yes, claims Eric Hartsburg. Hartsburg got paid $15,000 for a Mitt Romney “R” tattoo on his face  (photos below). Now he tells news that he hopes to do the same for his forehead. The revelation comes as Katy Perry wore a ballot dress, selecting Barack Obama, last week.

Eric Hartsburg tells news that he has decided to use politics as a way to auction off ink-rights on his face to encourage young people to vote. Eric is a pro wrestler. But he told news this week “I am a registered Republican and a Romney supported. I didn’t mind getting this tattoo because it is something that I could live with and it’s something that I believe in.”

But the wrestling thinks that getting your face tattooed with your ballot choice sends a positive message to others, even within the same party. “In the beginning it was done for gags and publicity, but now I see it as a way to encourage young people to vote”, he tells ABC. He added “I want young people to know that it’s O.K. to be young, and it’s O.K. to be a Republican. You don’t have to be rich or elderly to be labeled as a Republican, and I want everyone to know that.”

He writes on Twitter that his party has been wrongly portrayed by the media. “Tired of the Republican party being packaged as just rich n elderly. I’m neither. The party is not the insensitive boogeyman.”

Next up will be his forehead. He tells news “you only live once, and I was born with a forehead, so why not? … Now taking offers for that area. We made history w the 1st Romney tat ever!”
