Kesha Not Dead – False Death RIP Tweet Confusion Strikes Singer

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Kesha is not dead. Ke$ha is battling a false death RIP tweet confusion today. It’s all the result of promotion of her new song. Kesha hasn’t died this October 27, 2012, but fans are reportedly retweeting “RIP Kesha” to promote her single Die Young.
One of Kesha’s fans best noted the confusion this Saturday. Shortly before 4 pm PST, fans began writing on Twitter “RIP Kesha”. Some fans knew the purpose of the tweet, while others were left confused. “PEOPLE, Ke$ha is not dead, her fans are trending RIP Kesha to promote her single Die Young”, explained the fan. Instead others reading those tweets believed the singer had died. “Kesha isn’t dead, people are so gullible” responded another fan.
For other Kesha fans, the confusion is not new. “Kesha’s dead again? I think that’s the third time she died this year”, another fan told news this weekend. Kesha in September along with Bill Nye battled a series of fake death reports.
But this is not the first time the singer has been the victim of erroneous claims. In 2010, Kesha was the victim of a false leaked photo scandal. Some fans felt that the false report targeting Kesha after her comments about Britney Spears. Kesha has said at the time “I think if you are going to be a singer, you should sing. If you are going to be a dancer, you should dance.” She added “If you are going to do a combination of the two, you should make it very clear when you are singing and very clear when you are dancing.”
Kesha is not dead, nor is Ryan Seacrest, Adam Sandler or Morgan Freeman.
