ST LOUIS (LALATE EXCLUSIVE) – The Lizzi Marriott, Seth Mazzaglia murder case will head to court Monday. Lizzi Marriott is dead and Seth Mazzaglia (Facebook and acting photos below) has been charged with her murder. Investigators on the Elizabeth “Lizzi” Marriott case, however, confirm that the body of the University of New Hampshire student remains missing.
Seth Lex Mazzaglia, on his purported Facebook account profile, lists himself as a resident of Dover, New Hampshire and “from Portsmouth”. Mazzaglia set up the Facebook account in 2006, adding six friends just last Thursday. Among his favorite TV shows are Dexter, Vampire Dairies and Kingdom Hospital. For favorite films, he listed Sweeney Todd.
LALATE has also learned that Mazzaglia also appeared in Garrison Players’ theatre performance of “Don’t Dress for Dinner”. He also has a modeling page at exploretalent.com/sethmazzaglia. Seth Mazzaglia’s modeling page reads “I am primarily a stage actor currently based out of Dover, NH with dance experience who is looking to break into film. I have some experience writing and directing as well, and in my spare time enjoy teaching Martial Arts and practicing Ballroom Dance. “
Assistant Attorney General James Vara confirms that Seth Mazzaglia, 29, has been charged with second-degree murder. Among the evidence recently found is Marriott’s 2001 Mazda Tribute. But investigators are still searching for her body.
Anthony Hanna, Marriott’s uncle, tells ABC News that digital evidence is helping to aid the search. Police confirm to news that Marriott and Mazzaglia knew of each other. But Vara would not indicate if the alleged murder is believed to have been targeted or not.
Search efforts are still underway this weekend at two locations. Police are focusing on Dover and Pierce Island in Portsmouth. WCVB reports that “a vigil was planned at 7 p.m. Saturday at Bay State Commons in Westborough.” Lizzie’s grandmother told FOX News Friday “She is a good student and she’s hard-working. She is a person that doesn’t have a multitude of friends but she has good friends, a small group of good friends.”
