LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Tamar and Vince is flopping in the ratings. Tamar and Vince, the Tamar Braxton and Vincent Herbert spinoff, has now lost massive percentages of Braxton Family Values viewers from just weeks ago. In fact, Tamar and Vince last Thursday night revealed a massive drop in its own numbers since its debut seven days earlier.
Tamar and Vince joined the WETV fall lineup this year after a mini summer session of BFV. The return of Toni Braxton and her sisters together delivered WETV some big numbers this August. But Tamar Braxton is not a television draw by herself, at least not yet.
Tamar Braxton has lost as much 59% of Braxton Family viewers compared to August numbers of BFV, LALATE can report. Moreover, viewers are not returning to Tamar in week-to-week numbers. Tamar and Vince lost 26% of its ratings in week two compared to its debut numbers.
The peculiar comparison is most evident between last Thursday night’s telecast of Tamar and Vince and the August 30th telecast of Braxton Family Values, Great Eggspectations. On August 30, WeTv delivered three storylines on BFV, one about Towanda Braxton’s dating, one about Trina Braxton’s new music video, and the final about Tamar Braxton’s baby decisions.
While BFV has typically delivered roughly a 1.0 rating or higher per episode, the August telecast delivered WETV one of its biggest numbers this year alone. Officials told new at the time that the telecast drew in a massive 1.7 ratings share.
Last Thursday on Tamar and Vince, the couple talked about their new chef, their dog, and her music. Fans did not turn in. The show delivered a mere 0.71 ratings share, a 59% drop compared to the BFV telecast. Tamar was blown away by most if not virtually all shows in that timeslot Thursday night including King of the Hill, Real Housewives of Miami, and the First 48.
