Tamar and Vince Ratings Drop in Season Debut

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Tamar and Vince dropped in its ratings debut from lead-in Braxton Family Values, last night. Tamar and Vince delivered ratings number dramatically down from Braxton Family Value’s season two debut. The new show exhibited a drop in viewers compared to its lead-in, Braxton Family Values, but still posted a decent season debut number.
The peculiar choice by WETV to air Tamar and Vince’s debut at 10 pm appears to have hurt its ratings number. On Thursday night’s Braxton Family Values, the performance by Toni Braxton and drama between Gabe Solis and Trina Braxton didn’t deliver strong numbers for BFV. The show posted 960,000 viewers, a 0.5 ratings share in the 18-24 demographic, officials tell news.
Tamar and Vince didn’t hold that lead-in number. In the next hour, Tamar Braxton Herbert delivered 910,000 viewers and a drop to a .4 ratings share in the 18-24 demographic.
Officials also indicate to news that Tamar and Vince did not deliver numbers anywhere near the season 2 premiere of BFV. In November 2011, BFV’s season two debut delivered an impressive 1.2 million viewers. In January, when the sisters headed to the desert, the series reached a season high, delivering nearly 1.4 million viewers.
In fact, ratings for BFV have been consistently good this summer. The recent details of Trina Braxton’s music video on August 30 delivered an impressive 1.7 million viewers. And while BFV’s numbers are still strong, it remains to be seen if viewers will return to Tamar and Vince.
Dish Networks recently dropped WETV this summer. Dish said at the time “AMC Networks required us to provide, and charges DISH for, channels beyond AMC, including Sundance, IFC and WE. In aggregate, these channels do not deliver the right value to our customer base for the price AMC Networks demands.”

This would be a pretty decent show if Tamar would shut up sometimes and stop with the dramatics. She talks too much and it grates on your last nerve. Bring the sisters in future episodes to play off of her. She’s way over the top by herself. Feel sorry for Vince.
