LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – The Devore aka San Bernardino Fire map 2012 is prompting concerns tonight as a new California wildfire erupts. Officials battling the Devore fire 2012 report that evacuations have been ordered. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
California temperatures tonight heated up. And along with that came a new blaze striking Southern California. The latest assault is in Devore north of San Bernardino and west of Crestline, Lake Arrowhead and Running Springs.
Officials tell news that the blaze erupted roughly sixty minutes ago at 3 pm PST. The fire within one hour had reportedly grown to fifteen acres. The Sun newspaper is reporting that some structures have been destroyed. No damage assessment has been given by firefighters to local news.
The blaze erupted on northbound Interstate 15 and Kenwood Drive, CHP is reporting to news. The fire is currently near or in Woodland and Greenspot roads.
Mapping reveals the fire burning in San Bernardino National Forest, en route to highway 138. The fire is north of Kendall, Muscoy and Hutner’s Ridge. No injuries have yet to be reported by local news. For updates, click HERE.
