Bayern Munich has played five matches since August, and been undefeated. First against Borussia Dortmund in the DFB Super Cup, Bayern Munich delivered a two goal win. For the team’s next two matches, Bayern Munich didn’t give up a single goal from their opponents, but scored seven goals of themselves. In fact,  the skill of Bayern Munich’s defense, as much as offense, has impressed new this summer. The team has never given up more than one goal a game. But in five matches, they have scored a shocking eighteen goals.

In a interview with TZ newspaper, Lahm says his team hopes for a big win today. “The goal must be to progress as group winners. It will be difficult but the fun begins against Valencia.” He also told news “They are a top team that almost always plays in the Champions League so they are just behind Real Madrid and Barcelona. It will be a real test and certainly they are the toughest opponents in the group.”
