Arsenal’s Premier League is off to a strong start. The team’s opener ended in a scoreless draw against Sunderland on the road. But in their debut home game before twenty-seven thousand fans, Arsenal also inked out a scoreless draw against Stoke City.

The excitement, however, heated up when Arsenal took to the field this month for their second at home game. That match against Liverpool shocked news, holding Liverpool scoreless in a two game win. Lukas Podolski scored for Arsenal at the thirty-one minute mark. Then at the sixty-eight minute mark, Santi Carzola came back with a second goal.

But last weekend, it was all Arsenal. Against Southampton, the team only allowed Daniel Fox to score. Arsenal delivered goals from Jos Hooiveld at the eleven minute mark. Then, within six minutes of each other, Arsenal came back with three goals from Podolski, Gervinho, and Nathaniel Clyne. A second goal in the match gave Gervinho a brace. He was followed then by a strike by Theo Walcott at the eighty-eight minute mark.
