LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Peyton Manning interceptions have dominated the first quarter of Monday Night Football’s Broncos vs. Falcons 2012 game. Manning has delivered three interceptions in the first quarter alone, with minutes still remaining.
Tonight’s Broncos vs. Falcons 2012 showdown is Manning’s first game on the road with Denver. But in his first week at home, Manning delivered a stunning win against the Steelers. In that game, Manning produced two touchdown passes and no interceptions.
But in the first quarter tonight, Manning has already given up three interceptions. So far, Manning has been picked off by Thomas DeCoud, William Moore, and Robert McClain. Manning has completed six of ten passes, producing forty-five yards.
The game’s score remains 0-10 after Michael Turner delivered a one yard touchdown run. Matt Bryant followed up with a thirty-seven yard field goal.
With the Colts, Manning delivered a total of nine interceptions during the entire 2006 season. In fact, for three years prior, Manning never gave up more than ten interceptions per season.
