LSU Lockdown, Evacuations 2012 Announced Following Bomb Threat

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – A LSU lockdown and evacuations today 2012 have been announced following a bomb threat. In a news statement at 9:37 am today September 17, 2012, Louisiana State University first indicated receipt of the bomb threat. No further news update has yet to be indicated by the campus.
“A bomb threat has been reported on the LSU campus” said the official news statement. “Please evacuate the campus as calmly and quickly as possible. Check LSU social media and www.lsu.edu for updates”.
No further details about the threat have been indicated to news Monday. Officials, however, confirm that bomb technicians are on scene. Local images show gridlock following the campus evacuation order.
Last Friday, nearly a handful of colleges across the country went onto lockdown after receipt of individual bomb threats. Among them were the University of Texas Austin and also North Dakota State University . Officials tell news that these threats have been unrelated. But the motive behind the latest surge remains unknown.
