Richard Bolling Federal Building: Explosives Found Near Kansas City Structure

ST LOUIS (LALATE) – The Richard Bolling Federal Building is on alert after explosives have been found near the Kansas City federal building. Officials tell news that a man walked into the Richard Bolling Federal Building around noontime today. He told security that was a purported terrorist about to launch a terrorist attack.
Police immediately closed down streets around the man’s vehicle. Moments ago, KSHB reports that bomb sniffing dogs have determined “some sort of explosives” are inside man’s vehicle.
No explosives have been detected in the Federal building. But authorities are still surrounding the man’s car parked in the Fletcher Daniels State Office Building parking lot at 615 E. 13th St, KSHB reports. People inside Fletcher Daniels State Office Building and Richard Bolling Federal Building have been evacuated or shifted to another location.
41Action News reports moments ago that a “Temporary flight restriction [has been] issued for downtown Kansas City after bomb threat at state building”. It also reports that a robot is attempting to get at the package inside the car. “Robot working to get in the back seat of suspicious vehicle outside state building” adding the “robot [is trying to] clear contents”.
