CORAL GABLES (LALATE) – Joanna Krupa (Playboy photos below) and dentist / model Karent Sierra are among the changes to an updated Real Housewives of Miami debuting tonight. Added to the cast for season two are also Lisa Hochstein and lawyer and chef Ana Quincoces.
News reports last July claimed that behind the scenes production concerns during season one led to purported troubles for Bravo. For months, news analysts wondered if the show was canceled or return in a new format. But tonight’s show should reportedly bare a dramatic departure since season one.
But this time, the network is hoping for smoother results and higher ratings. Purveyors of Pop will produce Miami season two. They previously have done Bethenny Ever After, Atlanta, New Jersey, and New York Real Housewives. And in news statements this week, Pop claims the show will bare a “telenovela” like style. “Get ready for the first reality #telenovela #RHOM tonight at 9pm/8pmcst on #Bravo”, they told news moments ago.
Rodolfo Jiménez will make appearances during the season, producers reveal to news. Rodolfo Jiménez is a telenovela actor who hosted five seasons of Escándalo TV de Noche. He previously appeared on the shows La Viuda de Blanco, Decisiones, and ¡Anita, no Te Rajes.
For years, Bravo fans have wondered why no housewives have ever been invited to join Dancing with the Stars. Tonight, Bravo does the reverse, casting former DWTS season seven cast member, Joanna Krupa, as a new housewife.
In 2009, Joanna made news appearing Playboy. That same year she appeared in the TV series, Superstars, opposite Terrell Owens.
Krupa is believed to be still engaged to Romain Zago, owner of Mynt nightclub. The couple purportedly became engaged in 2009. Hochstein’s husband is a plastic surgeon.
