Perry Hall High School Shooting: Facebook Account Identity Being Investigated

ST LOUIS (LALATE) – Following the Perry Hall High School 2012 this morning, a Facebook account is being investigated by police. While the gunman’s identity has not been released to news, a Facebook profile is prompting investigation. Police have yet to confirmed to news if that Facebook account holder is the shooting suspect. But local parents are telling CBS News that they believe the suspect and the Facebook account holder are the same individual.
On the Facebook profile, the author posted, six hours ago via mobile, the following remark; “First day of school, last day of my life. t(~_~t), f-k the world”. Today’s shooting erupted on the first day of school, by a student.
But while police tell news that the shooter is a teenager, the Facebook profile lists himself as “went to Perry Hall High School”, “lives in Baltimore, Maryland”, and “divorced”. It also lists “murdered suicide at the Manson Family”.
CBS News and the Atlantic Wire are both reporting that the Facebook threat is under investigation. CBS claims “Parents are telling Eyewitness News and WJZ.COM there may have been a threat on Facebook referencing the school, but there are no confirmed reports of that.” News reports also claim that the shooting stemmed from any alleged recent bullying incident. The account holder lists his join date with Facebook as July 30.
Since the suspect was taken into custody, no further update has been made to the Facebook account. The suspect is confirmed as a male student. The victim is also a student at the school; the victim was taken via Medevac to a local area hospital. The victim’s condition remains unknown.
