LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – OJ Simpson is not dead. Simpson is battling fake death reports today, claims that he has died in prison. Simpson is the latest personality in recent weeks to battle such reports while incarcerated. He also follows The Undertaker and Usher who both are battling erroneous death reports today as well.
OJ Simpson is the victim of a fake death report today, no different than the one which struck rapper Ja Rule in March. On March 31 this year, Ja Rule battled a fake death story which claimed he died while jet-skiing on vacation. However, Ja Rule wasn’t on vacation. He’s in prison. On March 8, 2011, Ja Rule began serving his two year prison term, initially at Rikers Island. In July that year, his sentence was increased an additional twenty-eight months.
Last month, fans faced confusion after a false report claimed that Lil Boosie died in prison as well. The fabricated death tale read “Baton Rouge Rapper torrence hatch was found dead at Spaulding County Correction Institution.”
But Lil Boosie’s real name is not “Torrence” nor “Torrance” but Torence Hatch. And Boosie is not serving time at “Spaulding County Correction Institution”. Rather he reportedly is serving time at Louisiana State Penitentiary (Angola).
The latest notable fake report to strike Simpson was the 2011 tale that he is Khloe Kardashian’s secret father. A Kardashian source told news that the Enquirer’s allegation at the time was “ridiculous and laughable”. The Enquirer had claimed “It was the big secret that no one in the two families would discuss… Robert admitted he and Kris were not having […relations] at the time Khloe was conceived”.
OJ Simpson is not dead, he isn’t Khloe’s father, and Lil Boosie and Usher are alive. David Guetta didn’t die today, and Adam Sandler wasn’t snowboarding in Zermatt.
