Colts vs. Steelers 2012: Luck Battles Roethlisberger in Preseason

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – When the Colts vs. Steelers 2012 take to the field tonight (8 pm EST on NBC), the Colts will attempt to deliver a game as impressive as their preseason opener against the Rams. Tonight’s Colts vs. Steelers 2012 is the second of four preseason games for both teams. But last weekend, the Colts shocked news with a 38-3 win against St Louis.
In 2011, the Colts were twenty-seventh in the league overall in passing yards, twenty-sixth in rushing yards. But last weekend, the Colts shocked news with a stellar showing against the Rams. The Colts delivered over three hundred yards, and an average of ten yards per pass. The team also delivered more than one hundred yards rushing. Moreover, the team had no turnovers.
Luck went ten for sixteen, delivering nearly two hundred yards with two touchdowns and no intersections. Stanton also went eight for eleven with eight-three years.
The story was far different for the Steelers last week. The team was narrowly defeated by the Eagles on the road. Roethlisberger was unimpressive. Ben went seven for eight and delivered a mere forty-nine passing yards with no touchdowns.
After today’s game, the Steelers battle Buffalo next Saturday then the Panthers on August 30. Their season opener is at Denver on September 9 on NBC. The Colts in turn head to Washington next Saturday and then the Bengals on Thursday. As news analysts remind fans, the Colts’ season opener is at Chicago on September 9 on CBS.
