Fulham vs. Norwich City 2012: Damien Duff, Mladen Petric Deliver Early Lead

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – As Fulham vs. Norwich City 2012 heads to halftime, Damien Duff and Mladen Petric have delivered Fulham an early lead today. Norwich City has struggled this morning, with only two goal attempts compared to Fulham’s eight. Norwich has had two corner kicks to Fulham’s five, and has had the ball only forty-two percent of the time today.
But so far, the scoring had come from two players today: Damien Duff and Mladen Petric. Duff was quick to score for Fulham at the twenty-six minute mark. Petric followed that in with a close range shot at forty-one minutes.
For Fulham, today’s match follows a heated week of deal problems. First, Brede Hangeland has still not reached a new deal with Fulham, his agent Rune Hauge told news. He is under contract until summer 2013.
But in an interview with TV2 this week, Brede told news “When we haven’t signed a contract at this point, then it’s fairly obvious that we haven’t reached an agreement. Rune is right about that.” He added “I am quite relaxed compared to many other players who begin to unwind as they have one year left on their contract.”
Meantime, Clint Dempsey, whose contract expires in summer 2013, has reportedly told Fulham he will not play today nor ever again for Fulham. Dempsey did not suit up for today’s match. For live updates and scores of today’s match, click HERE.
