Buckhorn Fire Map 2012 Grows, as Shasta County Wildfires Spread

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – The Buckhorn Fire map 2012 is growing today as multiple Shasta County wildfires are burning in the region. Buckhorn Fire officials tell news that the blaze erupted shortly before 11 am PST today.
The Buckhorn Fire started Saturday August 18, 2012 as one of several Shasta County fires. CAL Fire reports to news that the blaze by noon had grown to one hundred acres. As of 1:30 pm, no additional updates have yet to be given to news.
CAL fire’s Shasta-Trinity Unit is currently on scene. The fire’s location is reportedly off Fern Road near Whitmore.
The U.S. Forest Service tells news that as many as seven fire erupted since last night. They include one in Trinity County in the Yollabolly area. Meantime, Mike Witesman, a public information officer for the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, reports that as many as fifteen fires have erupted in Shasta County since around sunrise today.
No structures have been damaged and no evacuations have yet to be issued in the Buckhorn Fire.
In related news, the Vallecito Lighting Complex Fire in San Diego County reached ninety-five percent containment today. The combination of six fires burned upwards of twenty-three thousand acres since starting on August 12, 2012.
