Randy Travis Mugshot DWI Photo Reveals Black Eye Injury
LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Before Randy Travis’ mugshot from his DWI arrest was taken, the singer was already unclothed and sporting a black eye. The Randy Travis mugshot photo reveals that the singer sported a black eye underneath his right eye socket, a cut over his nose, and swelling on his face. But police still don’t know where the singer got the injuries from. They would not conclude that the black eye was a result of Travis’ car crash. They also don’t know why the singer was unclothed.
When police responded to the scene outside Tioga, Texas,, they found Travis lying on the road next his crashed car, clothed. Travis was sporting a “strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath and several signs of intoxication”, Grayson County Sheriff’s Office said in a news statement.
But thereafter, Travis was charged not just for driving while being intoxicated, a misdemeanor, but also for retaliation and obstruction, a felony. Travis is accused of threatening to shoot and kill the troopers who came to his aid.
But the bizarre details don’t end there. Sgt. Ricky Wheeler of the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office tells ABC that Travis was naked at the time he was brought to the local jail. Wheeler doesn’t know when Travis removed his clothes from the crash scene. Travis was eventually released on $21,500 bond.
Travis has yet to comment about the matter. No future court date has been announced to news.
